This quote is haunting me since you posted it, in the wake of the UK's European election results (in short: 65 years after D-day, we're sending fascists to represent us in Europe).

Sort of. The actual number of votes for the BNP has gone down, but low voter turnout and the PR system in Europe meant they won two seats in the elections to the European parliament.

Has there been any coverage of all this - or the kerfuffle in UK politics - in the USA's mainstream media? I'm asking because British newspapers usually give some space to what the Obama administration is doing, and important/shocking events in the US (like the shooting in DC yesterday). Does it work the other way round?
